I pulled up from the basement a very old lamp, removed the shade to give the bare light bulb look to give the mood of an overhead bare light bulb. And I left the drapey backdrop visible to further add to the mood of the shot.
This was taken in my pale livingroom.
Every spring my garden fills with pretty spring bulbs in bloom……and when I draw open the drapes in the morning it brings me pure spring happiness……….
…my spring garden………
Every fall I need to replant red tulips in the front garden, as there is too much shade there for them to ripen properly and flower a second year. So the once bloomed red tulip bulbs of the front I dig up and replant into the back garden, where they come up fine.
But a funny thing happens between the front and the back garden. After two seasons, the back garden tulips slowly turn pink. These tulips started out red in the front, and have been blooming pink in the back garden for a couple of years.
….pink, once red, tulips…….my garden this morning…………
Today at lunch hour. Cherry blossoms in full bloom meeting magnolia blossoms in full bloom. My neighbor’s backyard, and a gorgeous view from my patio window and deck. So much spring! 🙂
I re-seeded my entire front lawn last weekend. Which means watering every morning . And look what greeted me, these beautiful plump fragrant pink hyacinths. Even as I go to the backyard, the fragrance follows me….spring……..
…my garden this morning……….
Boucle and I spent some time under the umbrella at lunch hour today. Both Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal came by for a short visit, and were kind enough to pose for me and Boucle here and there……..
…I love spring! 🙂 …………
