It was cold and wintery outside on this spring day. Spent this afternoon baking in the kitchen. There is nothing like having home baked from scratch food. From scratch pie pastry, and fresh ingredients for a spinach quiche.
I went outside for a moment while it was baking, and coming back into the house, I smelled pastry baking. Love that aroma.
Hot out of the oven, I got the picture done as fast as I could while the quiche was too hot to handle, and then……….gone!
Yesterday I brought home a …
…cherry bar – photographed yesterday and then eaten 🙂
…pecan toffee brownie – eaten before I had a chance to photograph (how did that happen?)
…macaron – because of the colors – they lasted until today – photographed and eaten, first lemon, then lime, then strawberry………..
No more treats for me……!:)
Three roses remain. The rest have drooped. So sad to see the last of them, but what happiness they brought me. This will be the last of my roses photos from this beautiful bouquet.
Used SB800 Flash with umbrella, camera right as they were backlit alot – and F3 to get the shallow DOF, framed in camera.
This is available as a fine art print.
