It was cold and wintery outside on this spring day.  Spent this afternoon baking in the kitchen.There is nothing like having home baked from scratch food. From scratch pie pastry, and fresh ingredients for a spinach quiche.

I went outside for a moment while it was baking, and coming back into the house, I smelled pastry baking.  Love that aroma.

Hot out of the oven, I got the picture done as fast as I could while the quiche was too hot to handle, and then……….gone!
