What a gorgeous perfect summer day it was yesterday.  Sunny, warm with just a nip in the air, and a bit breezy.

Boucle and I spent the day happily outside gardening and trying to catch pictures of the rare airshow jet zipping by.  I had planned to plant some plants and move others in June, but it had been so warm all summer long, that I kept postponing and postponing.

The poor euonymus has been sitting in a pot, waiting for me all summer.  Finally he is in his new home.  And some plants were moved.  And I dug up some giant poppies.  I know….how could I dig up poppies.  But they were taking over the entire back garden area, and smothering their fellow plants.  So I dug them up, including sifting through the soil over and over, trying to find every last tuber. Otherwise they will return.  I am hoping that I got them all.
