…view…. standing on the top of the Bluffs…… to Lake Ontario
Yesterday, Boucle and I visited the Scarborough Bluffs on the shores of Lake Ontario.
This is standing right on the top of the bluffs, you can see that grey brown sandy peak on the lower left of the photo. That is the peak of the bluffs. It is a shear sandy drop. We were behind a fence. Even that close it is unnerving.
The bluffs were formed over 12,000 years ago from sediment and wind from the lake. They are 60 metres high, about 200 feet.
Below, is the Scarborough Bluffs Marina and park. Which we visited and I will post a photo of the bluffs soon from that point of view.
What a view we had to Lake Ontario on a gorgeous autumn day……..
