A blog about simplifying …..and embracing all  the goodness in living……………

This is a very personal blog which I have started for a few reasons.  First, I love taking pictures.  Second, a lot has happened in the last couple of years and I realize that the best things in life are the simple things.  For me, simplicity is my beloved poodle Boucle aka sweetie-pie…. it is photography which I love, it is good home cooked food and a place to hang one’s hat.

Pare down, simplify, consider how one wants to live going forward…….and embrace living……

This blog is my way of sharing my musings, observations, meanderings, and lots of my photography.

I hope you enjoy it, and find a kernel here and there where you say, yes! I feel that way too. Or simply enjoy a picture:)

Best…..Jane and Boucle

  1. Your blog and photographic approach is just what I’ve been looking for inspiration to do more studio shots in the 2012 Photo Challenge. Elegant and not stuffy 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    • Thank you PC Photo for visiting. I am just starting on flash photography and am enjoying it. Especially with winter approaching and being able to take more indoor shots. I am sure you will too.

  2. Lovely blog and images. Thank you for visiting Jay&Jacy Photography at WordPress. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

  3. Hello Jane,

My name is Miranda Esteve and I work at the Art Director for Look Local Magazine. Look Local is a Oakville and Burlington that is distributed over 500 locations around the two cities! I came across your beautiful Downtown Oakville Pier photo on your website. I was wondering if we could feature it in our Downtown Oakville Summer Guide? We would be willing to give you a credit line in our magazine for the image of course 🙂 Please let me know if you have a high resolution version of that photo and would be so kind as to supply it to us!

    Thanks so much,

    Miranda Esteve
